Hey Jeff,
I'll put my hands up to say I have nothing to do with the shenanigans, you're looking at here, but I'll tell you a story.

On the way home from the Nymboida Rally, riding with Eddie, Christian and Little Scotty, I actually stopped at the museum and went in for a look, when I pulled up there were about 15 or so sports bikes parked out front, I made my visit quite quick, as I still had about 550 Kms to ride to get home that day, it is an amazing place, and at that time that XS wasn't there, this museum last I saw it was in Canberra don't remember how long ago, but it was years ago.

There is a section dedicated to Ian Williams who at one stage was an Australian Speedway champion in 125, 250 and 500cc, he was my idol when I was racing, I became good friends with his dad Taffy who donated a lot of his son's memorabilia, unfortunately both father and son have now passed away.

That afternoon when I walked out of the museum, here were all the sports bike riders crowded around my fully loaded XS11RH.

Have a look at these pics, Ian Williams in his prime, if they work?

Lou

Yeah, Bryan. I'd like to know how they arrived at that little spiel on the sheet.
For a start, the bits of the bike it's attached to is all Standard, barring the tank. Any other photos of it?
Errol...its a devious plot by RH owners to claim recognition of the worldwide acclaim the Standard XS1100 has set.
I would nt be surprised if Lou was nt behind it in some way... ;D :D

It's a mind blowing place, sooooo many great bikes all together.
There was a swap meet there earlier this year, people from all over with parts etc & a wander through the museum, great day.
Might do it again on the XS next year,
