On the assumption that an RH is really a 5K7 then standard front pads would be FA70's - if that helps!

Maybe brake pad cleaner will remove the fork oil on the pads you have.

Where do you RH riders get your brake pads? Front to be precise.
I bought these ferodo pads off the bay and they wont fit. had to do some grinding of the top section of the steel backing plate so they would go far enough up into the caliper to get the pin in and when i forced the piston back as far as it will go the gap between the pads still was only about 4mm, to narrow to go over the disc
you might be asking whats wrong with the old pads? well they were soaked in fork oil from a leaking seal that ran down the forks and straight onto the pads.....how does that happen?
Any one got a new set of pads they can measure like the picture?

Cases are now back together with new crankshaft bearings, primary chain, rolling element bearings and seals, Minus the extra washers in the gearbox, Just waiting on some engine mounts now before motor goes back into frame.

Only have the measurements for our 79 XS-SF  as i do have the original length springs here. But I do have available the oil quantaties but I would have to look for them. I do have every factory service manual for every bike in Canada, so it should be found relatively easy.
78E, 79SF currently running and road ready.

Hi Ras
Can you offer any information regarding oil quantities and original spring free length for the air assisted leading axle forks?
