Scored Retros RH a while back and still havent started the engine.
Shes gone straight up onto the bike lift bench for a bit of TLC and mainly because it had no rear brakes.
fluid was leaking everytime the pedal was pedaled and no pressure, found that the rod that connects from the brake pedal and pushes on the master cylinder piston was bent and had chewed out the piston seals from  forcing the piston hard against one side of the cylinder. new seals and a straightened out rod and now all good
next job was a carby strip and check, found a couple of things wrong,
starter jets in bowls 1 & 4 were blocked and cleared after endless poking with oxy tip cleaners, carby cleaner spray, compressed air and finally dropping both bowls in boiling water for 5 mins, that really did the trick.
Also found the o ring for the gauze fuel inlet was rooted and possibly allowing fuel to bypass the needle and seat, even if the float was doing its job.
in another thread I posted a pic of the air mixture screw I had to get out with an Ezy out, well I managed to reclaim it and repair the stripped then drilled out screw driver slot. there were also a missing washer and O ring in the mixture screw assembly. Tony had pods fitted which have been unceremoniously hoiked in favour of the original air box and filter

a couple of other jobs still to do are
repair cracked and dented OEM 4-2 pipes.

Got some electrical work to do too (my favourite....not)
Replace the rear brake s/w
Replace the fuse box
suss out out what the after market relay is for and possibly remove? (Jeff excesiv11 any ideas?)

Replace the broken high beam switch

remove the swingarm and replace the missing uni-joint dust cover

then.........................................I might get to go for a ride?
