Might be worth checking the centrifical advance mechanism is working as it should........regarding the harmonic vibration your having.

a tentative dayout, a 30 odd klm run to see if all is as it should be,

the fairing cuts a huge amount of air buffeting, it won,t be a summer riding fairing, the heat coming up from the engine is quiet warming,
with the hand covers you can,t cool your hands when they start sweating so a light set of gloves might be the go

the things you pick up when riding that you don,t see when standing beside it,
the bike has been dropped quite solidly maybe more than once, something is sitting off square, not sure if it,s bent handlebars or bikini fairing just sitting off square, don,t think it,s anything to do with headstock

1, the fairing has a large patch strap on the left side behind/in front of the mirror stalk
confirming my thoughts that the paintjob is second hand

2, mirror stalks are different lengths so the mirrors sit at different heights

so end game now will be a full restoration, taking into consideration the repairs to the fairing are a bit second hand and very obvious when you look at it,,

there,s quite an annoying harmonic vibration running through the bike putting your hand to sleep within 20 minutes, could well be carb sync, not hard to do, maybe hardened rubber engine mounts, muffler mounts look good and free from frame

all in all a good run, miles of go and torque, it does only have 40k klm on her, very little slap between power off and power on in drive train

from my limited knowledge all martinis' have a unique number prefix, frame and engine, 120- xxxxxx, if not it,s a mock up,
much  like Eddies much loved cop bikes with 5H4
and fords GT  which have the GJ prefix {or JG}
shiploads of info out there, some of it tells a different story to other bits, so it,s taking some sifting through to start a shrine room,,
needed to start with a bike,, got that,, so magazine will be next, and so on

and Jonesy,, there is 1 in oz mate yes

I suppose a clarification of what are......and what are not........ Martini bikes comes back to the serial numbers within that range.
This is general interest on my behalf ....as I have been looking at a "Martini" ....according to and described by the seller.
It looks like one ...but in actual fact is a Hybrid of a Martini Fairing fit to an "None Martini Specified Serial Number" bike.

So what denotes it as a UK model is whats on everyones lips....
I understand there was a change of mount position on the front indicators to comply with overseas regs.
Also a shroud around the headlight instead of the all clear perspex.
Anything else ?
Spot lights are not allowed in Germany so none on Euro bikes
