you lot are worse than a kid at christmas or birthday,, trying to guess what the surprise is,,

I haven,t seen the story, nor do I know how to online but I,ll get there

but yes you,re right, I did buy it,

A very stressfull 1/2 hr on the phone with Xtrian and the seller, trying to amass the dollars for purchase {don,t ask}  5 figures,, then the pickup trip, we didn,t haggle, gave him his asking price, it was something that wasn,t/isn,t  going to be  readily available anytime soon, and frankly would,ve been an insult knowing what it means to our group of followers

lets just say any other project that was in line has been put on ice for the next quiet a while,
unless it can be built out of scrap, spares or leftovers  which leaves me a bit more time for the gardens now ;D ;D

still have to get it complied, plated and rego,d yet,, more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$  but well worth it me thinks

So in Star Wars perspective????

The Standard is the good  side of the Force???? The "Luke Skywalker"

The RH must be the dark side of the force???? The "Darth Vader"

The only reason it's a secret is that the Standard Crew are a bit ashamed about coming out and being open and up front about the real truth. I have a shoulder for you to lean on and cry if needed, also a good listener if you want to talk about how you failed when it came to buying a real XS1100?

Truth being the RH is all the rage at the moment and anyone that hasn't got one is looking for one or is jealous of the real deal. :D

LATER :)

actually that would be the mirror,,, all one can say is that it is an import, and it needs a pretty up before a reveal

day 3
before we do this,, a huge thankyou has to go to Ev for helping emonstrably with knocking over the klms to keep the weekend on track,, thanks mate,,,,,

now back to the story

saw a visit to a new member Ashlee_89, a young lady who wants to rebuild her fathers bike that he was doing when he passed away,
we spent an hr there reassuring her it was do-able and relatively easy to her surprise, so planning has begun for that project,
then it was up to sunshine coast to meet with Doug for a bit then home

well we,re doing it again,
Eveready and myself being steptoe are on another long distance rescue mission

our mission this trip involves dropping Tims new bike {a Rh} he bought from up here, and replacing choke rubbers whilst there, delivering air box chrome shrouds for Bryan then belting the highway for a 3900 klm round trip to rescue an 11 from a life as a museum piece
I left home at 4.30 am, picked Ev up on the way,,,  a fuel load of 140 ltrs was put in  at Maryborough at 6.30 am  and lasted for just on 12  hrs where a refuel at Nabiac was required,
back to Tims place first, with his coughing and farting that has been taking place over a long period, we slipped a set of new rubbers on and by all accounts  a marked difference was noticed straight off the bat,
so all that having been taken care of we,re cruising down the freeway for sydney listening too 10 cd,s of 70,s and 80,s music and talking all things xs with some very interesting  theories being produced
having knocked over 15 hrs so far it,s into the night  and updates as we go
