One more thing, Tim. Make sure you are looking at the later model Special sidecovers with the top mounting holes -



as opposed to the SF (79) ones which have the top slots aka the Standard type

the cover sitting on the bike when you got home fits on, you just need a zippy tie round the bottom to secure, a set of rubbers wouldn,t go astray
