Hey Pete, you were right on the mark when you suggested "Bearing Traders". I went there this morning and was served by Melissa who seemed to know her bearings quite well, and it turns out that they did have the ones I needed. She will order in the Dust seals and I should have them by Tuesday, so it seems that she was more informed than the guy I spoke to on the phone. All up including the seals $30.80, as you said mate - a lot cheaper than EBay. ;D

Mate, I cant thank you enough seriously. If you wont take any cash for it, can I buy you a six pack maybe. Just my way of saying thanks. There is no real rush on getting it mate, and in this weather no one wants to be mucking around with tyres and stuff. So anytime you get the chance mate will be fine with me, don't go out in this weather Pete, wait until it clears up. Thanks again Mate.
Cheers: Phil

Thanks mate, that's mighty kind of you. I will see how I go tomorrow and if I have no luck then I might take you up on the offer. But the bike is still in the very early stage of restoration so hopefully I should be able to find a replacement set somewhere in the wide blue yonder. Hey you wouldn't have a spare "Rim Lock" laying around that you would be interested in selling would you??

if you cant get a hold of any,
i could pull the bearings out of the parts bike for u,
i wouldnt recomend it if it was for wheel bearings
but for the swing arm it could get you out of trouble.

The part number was the one I stated before Pete, and if I wasn't so much of a "Lame Brain" I would have been able to re-pack and re-use. But when I dropped the frame off to the "Glass Bead Blaster" I left the bearings in the swingarm and now they are riddled with fragments of glass. Hence the need to replace.  :-[

if you have the bearing out,
it should have a part number on it,
or was that the number u quoted in the other post?

are the bearings worn, pitted or burnt?
you might be able to get away with cleaning them up
regreasing and putting them back in?

Hey Pete, yes they are out already and I told the guy on the phone that the seal was easy to pry out with a screwdriver, but he insisted that this was supposed to be attached to the bearing. So maybe I will try another bearing supplier tomorrow

Hey Pete, the guys at Bearing Traders will try and  source them next week, they don't have any in stock and say the difficulty in getting them is because of the rubber seal that is attached to the bearing. The part number that I have is "HI CAP 30203J" I don't suppose you would have the part number that you used would you mate.

Champion Pete, thanks mate, I did buy the steering head bearings from CBC bearings in Blacktown and they were unable to help with the swingarm. I will give Bearing traders a try and see how I go.
