Gday Jonesy. Theres an entry in the log from 15/ 9/ 1997 for a TRX 850. @ I think 670 kms. 1st tank of fuel= 65 mpg. 2nd tank =59 mpg. Best I ever got from the XS was about 50 mpg. Mind you that was a slow ........drunken ride up to Port MacQuarie back in 03 that took 8 hrs. But lets not go there........ ;)...My 1st entry for XS was on 19/ 12 / 2000; I'd just swapped my old Ford XC ute with my mate from Wyee for bike. Ok the ute had a worked rebuilt 351 Cleveland with maybe 400+ hp and only did 10 mpg.... but the rust was killing it and rego back then was $1100+. I think I got the better deal... well Ive still got bike.

Jonesy. Theres an opening for you in the spoked rim dept....Apart from looking cool and needing a shit load of cleaning I cant see any benefits but. Theres also the issue with caliper clearance. And having to run tubes. Heres a true story; about 5 years back I was going up the old Pacific Hway --the part that is about 3 ks long approaching Somersby. No Cops so I thought Id see how fast Bikey would go. Was also about 40 degrees and I was running an H rated front tyre. Well speedo only goes to 210 but reckon I hit about 215. All good , stable, ( Standard XS1100 was good for 136 mph back in the day. ). Anyhoo about 5 mins later on the F3 approaching Ourimbah , luckily doing about 80 km/h , the front tyre blows out. Holly hecking hell.....talk about a wobble.   :o Checked it all out next day----no holes  in tyre. Only thing I can think is that H rated is only 160Km/h continous. Hot day , big heavy bike. I asked the shop to fit a new Metzler Lasertec V rated but they put an H rated on. ----something to keep in mind.

Excellent choice Chrisso :D
---------- oops, meant to quote Jonsey.  Yep I figured that out..... hey you've done the rims once--- you can do it again.. As for the front indicators; theyre those 'lil El Trendo You Beaut LED's  ( mounted on the oil cooler ).Not as bright as you'd think but better than the originals. And notice too that the rear caliper is upside bloody down.... Ive always meant to fit a tacho---even once laser cut and folded a stainless bracket to mount above the speedo...but all the aftermarket tachos were too pricey.. dont need one anyhow---when the valves bounce , change up lol.

It doesn't have front indicators, or a Tacho, and the left rear disc rubber is missing so $750 is a bit too much, reconsider your bid (LOL)

I'm confused Jonesy,

You'll give Chrisso $750,

Chrisso will give you the bike.

You'll give Chrisso a set of wheels and a set of bluespots??????
