Oh missed some of the advice,
Christian, starting to run out of things to buy. The cheapy mc I have is working fine but would Like upgrade. I can wait for the right one if it takes a little time.

I have enjoyed learning about radial v axial. Maybe I should just persist with finding a 14mm radial mc, some R1 seem to have a brembo one which I should be adle to sorce for under $200

Thanks for the input, I have been slow to reply.
After recently installing braided lines I doubt I could notice the difference, but in any event the old lines needed to go so why not braided?  Scarfy you make me wonder if I could notice a lot of difference either but I haven't heard much argument for not going with an upgrade :)
Andy pointed out what seems like a good quality nissin style mc no brand that is sold by Mostyn
Looks great only thing is it is 16 mm
I guess considering advice it won't affect an amature like me too much if I went for 16mm

I bought a whole system off an R1 (Ebay) and installed it.  When I out the big handlebars back on I went back to the XS original. I cant say I noticed a huge if any difference between the two.

dunno what these dudes are doing with their brakes but bluespots are super powerful bled properly with the proper ratio, 17.5mm mc is way too weak with effort wasted,  12 mm is a bit lethal, gives soft feel, can grab fn hard if too clumsy , on mine 14mm was bang-on
By the way Not many "dudes" here pgnz
I'm using 14mm now but used the original ok for 10 or so years. Sure 14 is better but if it's what you've got and you have more important things to do on the bike get the other later.

Hi just a quick question, those using the blue spots what size MC you using and any thoughts.
PGNZ recommended the 14mm few years back and I believe that is what I have been using.
Time to upgrade the cheap MC I got then so thought I would revisit others experience.

Standard one works fine

I'm using an R6 yammie M/C, dont know what size it is but thats what the OEM matched to run with the blue spots.
hunt around the wreckers for an R6 or R1 M/C and see what you come up with?
