Putting Dans forks together tonight and curious about the interchangeability of the air to standard tops. My research tells me such a little amount of air is used and many don't even bother to pump them up. They just seal them up with no weight on the fork and when compressed by weight have enough air pressure anyway.
If so it seems the standard with pre load adjustment is a better system as you can have air (as above) and the three preload settings as well.
Need to clarify the tops are interchangeable with no other parts interchanged?
