John Moorhouse - 07 3245 3979 -
near Capalaba here in Brisvagis
His brother raced XS11's back in the day (and died racing a TZ750 at Bathurst)

That's a seat from a 1980 XS1100G (3X0 or 3X1, depending where in the world it was bought)

This was fitted with the 18 Litre tank, which explains the gap twixt tank & seat on an RH...

Feckin good find though... Rare as hen's teeth...

BTW:  You sure you've got the front "tang" under the frame mount..?  Sure does look a long way away from the side-panels...

I know but just a pointer.
I still think Eldorado is the best bet, did a great job of my seat cover and can do all the other seat builds.

I'll get some photo's of my almost new (hardly used) original seat when I get home tomorrow.

I may send it off to Eldorado down south and see if he can do a replacement

He did a perfect job on my Standard seat, recommend his work to anyone, but bloody ProCycles at Hornsby put a rip in it when they packed it to go to Germany

I meant to also say I'll email you the photos tomorrow as well, but my pc froze after I attached the photobucket link. When I get to the office tomorrow I'll send you a couple more photos. It's a really nice seat, looks like it was removed when new by the dealer and it's been boxed up ever since. Do you have any photo's of the RH seat you have? my emal is john@ces.net.au.
