Hey Retro,

I have some carbies left over off an XJ750 that I sold, I'd need to go and have a look for them, not sure what size they are but if they fit nothing lost?

What part of the carby do you measure to get size, e.g. 28 34 36 etc

Lou

I too run the stock airbox as Irish describes - no 10mm holes tho - without spider and without engine breather -
that to a filter/bottle up under the seat.

yo jonesy , they run primo with xs airbox, xs velocity stacks inside, (the plastic rebreather spider thingie in there  thrown out) K&N airfilter,  a few 1cm holes drilled below, good exhaust pipe,  pick em' up ebay etc.. couple hundy if lucky, only mods are filing  the airbox bolt slots
and yeah you need a 90's gsxr750 cable or else rig your own cable not that tricky, also all this depends on what the hell the engine is like,  ps don't mention the fkn cricket haha

does it use same throttle cable?
any adjusting of the air box needed like slotting holes etc?
any other minor tweaking required?
how much $ (ball park) would someone expect to pay?

36mm zrx1100/1200 keihin CVK carbs with bigger main jets for an XS11, stock zrx jets are 115,  slam some 130's/140's in there and all go... heaps different than the bs34's,  waay smoother/more responsive/better throttle control etc..
