Jonesy thought it might be an 8" RH headlight but it's an aftermarket 7" I got from the wreckers to fit the CBX when it was a bare bike and later fitted it to that fairing

I've still got this fairing if anyone wants it.  It fits a round headlight which I will throw in as well.  probably a bit big to bring to Wellington on the CBX but let's see.

Yes those ones, I need mine now so I might grab the one I linked for now and if they are not close enough look at other options such as getting them made.
EDIT: scrap that, they will not be all that different than the ones I have. I will have a go at modifying them for now but I would be in on a group fabrication deal.
Might have to borrow a set from Christian an see what I can do.

How about a register of interest of who and how many pair would be ordered at one time. I understand cost will come into it...............but.....if there s none to be got...........there s none to be got .
So.....I would take one pair........if not 2 depending on cost.
Here s a first contact I ll make on Monday and check out interest and price according to numbers.
http://www.gardbar.com.au/
I would imagine it would be bare metal....requiring chroming or whatever finish you desire............extra to the cost.
Although again............chroming could be quoted as a group price .
To be clear......these are the original 2H9 bars I m talking about.

Looking to buy a set as close to original as possible. Has anyone found an aftermarket bar that is a close match?
This is the closest I found so far, seems if I shorten by about 40mm then the main difference will be 60mm lower?

Haha, thanks kindly for that.
Yes the plan is to make my own bars this time. I am using Scarfys bars as inspiration. Cut and weld job not bend. Also looking at the original seating posture.
Thanks again :)

You ARE on the ball brett. You picked the deliberate mistake in measurement cm is correct.

the other measurements are:

Setback 120mm

Height 12 cm

Now the questions on everybodys lips.

Does this mean you are going to make your own handlebars???????

If yes I have a set you can copy, just to get the bends in the right places and to get the correct dimensions.

Ah Awesome Eddie thanks, by the pictures pretty sure you mean cm though  ;)

Only two more measurements to go. The height they rise above clamps and how far they set back. Just quick/rough measurements will be ok. Please  :)

Brett,

sent a heap of photos to your phone.

In a nutshell I have 3 sets of standard bars all coming in at 65mm from tip to tip (not including bar end extensions)

I have 3 sets of RH adjustable handle bars all set at 67mm from tip to tip (not including bar end extensions)

My preference is the RH bars.
