Barn find is an RH.
Lou found it on Gumtree for $200.
He wanted an intact fairing.
I wanted parts.

Fairing was good, rest of bike appeared beyond help. We split the difference. 100 bucks each.

Tank, carbs and seat were missing. Luckily ( for me) I had spares.

One lazybones Sunday I changed the sludge in the donk, fitted the carbs, stuck on a battery and it fired up first crank and ran smoothly.

Thr original pipes are shot. With 19 years of dead rats blasted out the back of the bike, through my garage and out the back door. LHS muffler now has big hole in it.

A bit of digging found that it was last registered in 1997. 60k on the clock. Matching#. This one wil be fully restored.

Haven't decided which chariot to make an entrance on ;)

Ironbark has been on three pilgrimages ;D

The daily ride has been on one ::)

Could it be 3131 :-\

Could it be the "P"  :o

Could it be the Black round eyed Barnfind (Thanks Lou) 8)

Like this is the year of the Monkey, it could also be the year of the chair.  Two is the most we have had.  Anyone up to setting a new record??????  My last calculations amounted to four among the band of merry XSers

I reakon this time I'm going to stay on the Sunday and venture home on the Monday.

Mrs Steptoe,  Is it too late change my plans??

See Ya'll soon

Thanks Mrs Steptoe for the linen update.

I am glad we are going to Gulbong so our tour guide does not have to take us all to his home for afternoon Tea  :o
and see his collection.
Question is Master Eddie bring the side car
Question what is in  the Gulbong Musem I have the answer ???

JOURNEY INTO THE PAST........
Established in 1962, the Gulgong Pioneers Museum is home to one of the finest collections of Australiana in the country. Located in the old Times Bakery and Produce Store in the heart of historic Gulgong, the award winning museum’s collection includes a comprehensive array of domestic tools and utensils, farm and mining equipment, horse drawn vehicles, early photographs, Aboriginal and geological artifacts, period clothing, and buildings dating from Gulgong’s heyday during the turbulent Gold Rush days of the 1870’s

Wheelchair Access so we can Bring Bryan  :P
Group bookings we could do this  :o
Caravan & Coach parking & XS parking  8)
One acre of Pioneer adventure

Does this really sound the place for a Young(at heart) group of Bike enthusiasts  like ourselves  :'(

Dan we usually have about half the gang stay sunday and there is generally a workshop type of event held

Sounds good. I may need another night there. Will that put too much of a strain on the accommodation problem? If so, no worries, I'll ride home Sunday.

Is the Sunday a thing? I was going home but if Sunday is part of the event, then I'll stay Sunday night and go home Monday.
