I think we leave it the first w/end in May, no matter the date, be easier,

top idea Bretty, although  I,m not sure a lot of fellas' are aware of the amount of work/organising that it takes to knock up these w/ends, {to the std we,re used to }

if some one else wants to have a crack at it, absolutely., going to have to be quick though, we,ll be talking to people about next yr very shortly

I wanted to put an idea out there that a member of the group could "Host" the Rally in their area. Although they would not get much of a ride to the Rally they could use their local/inside knowledge to get the most out of the area and the business/facilities for the enjoyment of the many. Also get to ride their favourite road with everyone. A great example of this was Jonesy organising the lunch in Bathurst with a family members business. With some local knowledge and the Rally growing it could open up some very interesting opportunities to benefit the group.
I am not putting my hand up or saying I would not do it either but just thinking out loud, this area is always looking for ways to increase tourism as the weather cools down so it would be the time to get the best deal. The bike riding here is second to none and endless ideas for day trips.  But I imagine some members have way better contacts than I would in THIER area (we have been here less than a year) and could work a very good deal.
I know some love the idea of going back to Burke but wanted to put this idea out as another option.
