hey Christian,, I'm glad you emphasised the USED to heal quickly,,
I was enjoying my ride to work this morning  :) thinking about this thread, Fungorius it,s not the hard riding or leaning that worries me, we do that every day, it,s the dropped valve, broken ring, hurt tranny, hole in piston or leg out of bed  :o from doing it all day that is a concern :o :o ,,, as for the cobwebs,,,,,there aint none round here ;D ;D

Your right Steptoe we heal or rather used to but the bike has to be fixed and our parts are thin on the ground.

My XS1100E has been running better ever since the cobwebs were removed.....highly recommended......I was hesitant but that is no longer a worry.......give it a go and ride to your limit or just under and all should be OK... ::)

have always want to have a go one day, but am extremely hesitant, have spent so much time & money on the old girl .A day like that could go really well or really bad, so I always eir on the side of caution where the bike is concerned, maybe I'm a chicken but it would kill me if I wrecked her

Symmonds Plains ride day

We had a track day down here in Tasweigia land and a Classic bike race. I went along for a look and low and behold ended up paying $5 to enter show (which entitled me to do parade laps). Parade laps can be done at your own pace. This turned out to be 180kmph down the back straight with a side wind. It was a hoot.  ::)  Next time I am definitely paying for a license and doing a proper track day. Any hoo here are some pics a friend took (psst it's me in the hat)......hope you enjoy   ;D
