Hey Scotty,

Recipie to fit a standatrd tank to an RH.

Ingredients:

Standard tank (any colour)
RH fuel sender unit,
Fuel taps which fit a standard tank and have the outlets for an OCCY valve assembly.

Method:

Take off your seat
Take off your old tank (one securing bolt, pull off the fuel hoses and disconnect the fuel sender plug)
prep your new standard tank ( paint it black, swap the sender units over and change the fuel taps)
put new tank on (connect fuel sender plug, fit fuel hoses and stick in the securing bolt)
stick you seat back on.

you now have the option of looking good with your MOST unmolested RH, and
being practical by increasing your fuel capacity from 16 litres to 24?? litres.

and the best part is you can swap between the two in 5 minutes.

Did you fix your Tacho issue????

scotty,, the general has a bit on the side with a tank in it,,

it would take some ingenuity to fit an extra  tank albeit a small one into the frame as they stand,

but yes it is quite easily done with very little hassle,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a standard tank on yours that is

Why not have a separate, additional tank? That`s what I got on my `78!
