Well, these turned up on the eve of the rally, too late to get rubber fitted and muck around with spacing to suit the blue spots.
Since they left to go to the wheel lacer its been a pretty poor showing from him, and the couriers involved getting it back to me as far as customer service goes.
2 months in the guys shop and $500 over the verbal quote, they got sent back on 13th April, landed in Bathurst on the 14th and sat in a transport depot till the 4th May where i eventually tracked them down with no help from the courier company whose customer service is a name only. 5 ph calls and about an hour and a half in a "queue" with no result................still waiting for "the manager" to get back to me
end of rant.....

But as far as the workmanship goes, very happy.
tyres are now waitring at the bike shop to be fitted later this week when I can get them into town..............woo hoo

Yeah Brett,
He's also hydro blasting the rims, and rolling out a small dent in the front rim. I settled for just a hydro-blast as it was going to cost an arm and a leg to get all the years of scratches and life on the road polished outo.  Chrisso won't have the only set of spoked wheels, but he'll have the shiniest

Love the drill. Is the wheel restorer adding the spokes?

are the wheels being done somewhere kind of local as in Sydney or are you sending them further afield?
