Hi All
Have serviced and balanced the carbies and its running but its not purring so I want to go over the electricals.
Does anyone have a copy of the electrical testing procedure from the manual?
Also can anyone recommend what test gear I will need?
Its got a nasty afterpop with flame out one pipe and a trace of black smoke which is not kosher.

I believe deep in my heart that I am getting closer to riding this thing ( I think)

sounds like u could be running rich,
have u done any changes to the stock carbs,  jets/float levels?

also u could put a multi meter across the pos (red/white) of the coil
to make sure ur getting 12 volts to the coils.

what are your plugs looking like, take a pic
of the bottom of the plugs and post.
