So how did they perform Ev?
Gotta agree on the styling mate but in the dark no one can see what it looks like  :-* and some times practicality and self preservation come first

The set up doesn,t look that out of place,,  it would be interesting to see what it looks like with only the top lights on

Updated my SF to full summer running setup

^ As it was through winter (and our last rally) with Plexistar II screen with the 60w (20x3) LED bar light slung underneath. Combined with the big headlight with the 50w HID in it, was like driving with an overhead mercury vapour streetlight ulluminating the road in front of the bike, though the range was limited..............................

^ removed the screen and fitted up my new 60w (10w x 6) Led bar light after fabbing some new mounts for it.

New light is pencil beam format and is MUCH brighter than either the HID headlight or the other bar light

^sits neatly in front of the idiot light nacelle

^ the real time consuming bit. Relocated all the switches to a central mount, as the bar ends were getting crowded. Now have options of running all lights together, headlight and top bar light, headlight and lower bar light, just either bar light (or both), just the headlight, or even just my switchable running lights (aftermarket kit), depending on just how bad the fog is.
I also have all the (3) relays switched feeds coming from separate circuits. I felt comfortable doing this as the power needed to switch a relay is negligible, compared to the other side of the relay where the power for the relays comes direct (fused) from the battery for each one. I'll never be left in the dark except for a total electrical failure in which case I'll be walking anyway.
Can't wait for my ride to work tonight.
I'll get some more out on the road pics up later this week.

Edit: I do realise that these lights do look pretty horrible as far as styling goes, but my latest work roster has me starting / finishing work at midnight, 2 weeks out of 3, and it's a 60klm run down a back country highway each way, that's unlit and with plenty of wildlife, so I see my mods as backing up my sense of self preservation.
