oh what damm bad timing, i just purchased one on last Friday off US Ebay.
Biggest process ever messin about with paypal, took ages to set up an account, transfer cash and then now have to wait for delivery.

Fungy thanks for the offer anyway mate really appreciated.

hey MF,
if you have the original mc, have you tried
stripping and cleaning it first,
maybe replace the seals,  if theres nothing
wrong with the bore you shouldnt need to replace it.

yea tried that but when i put it back in and pulled some fluid through it, it still had no pressure. Easiest option i thought was to just replace the whole unit.

Hey MF
Do you have a picture of it, I found another in some boxes and I am sure it's XS1100 but not 100% positive. Same offer as before if it's the one.

well, without modification anyways. Im looking for something thats straight bolt in no hassels

it is prooving to be a hard part to find, ive called heaps of wreckers but they dont stock these bikes at all. Basically cause theyres not many out there as they were'nt in production for long and they are over 30 years old. Surely there is another bike that shares the same part??

cheers,

Mate,

welcome to the fraternity. ;D

Do you need the whole master cylinder or is the plastic bowl the problem.

I've got one with a stuffed bowl and you'd have to put a kit through it.
