Hi Everyone

Brian & I made it back to Adelaide late on Wednesday, about 4 ish.  I had to stay in Adelaide for specialist appointments and the dentist but finally got away on Sat morning and arrived in Lincoln by 2.00 pm.  It will be a while before I take on those sort of kms in one hit.

Cheers
Paul

I been here Eddie, just had no money to spend on the bike lately. I let the rego lapse while I was in the process of fitting the new speedo indicators and handle bar controls. Couldn't justify getting it re registered with no money coming in.
Finally have a date set for moving to Jervis Bay (About 6 weeks) and it made more sense to get the bike registered and ride it there instead of finding room on a trailer so as of yesterday I am back on the rd.
In hindsight I should have got it registered and come on the trip because I now have to fight a $1200 fine for doing a test lap around the block the day before I took it for the blue slip :(
My initial investigation is that I am legally allowed to do that and the cop was just being a douche ( I pulled over just before my house and there was plenty of evidence I had been working on the bike such as tools and oil) rambling on about how long he has been a traffic cop and he knows what is what. Just gotta clarify the law with a lawyer to make sure.
Looking forward to some rides with the Sydney guys after I move. Jonesy n Scotty we gotta go for a ride soon :)

After leaving Eddie and Xtian, got down the road and Little Scooter decided he'd head for the coast, One thing, avoid that part of the highway, there is that much road works, I reckon it would have been quicker going with Jonsezy,  I went to Nabiac and had a look at the National Motorcycle Museum (WOW) :D put it on your list guy's as it's the biggest one I've ever been too.

Also did a Steptoe and Michelle on the way home looking for other places to have a Rally, there was this real popular place that just continued all the way down the main highway it must be real popular cause all the signs kept saying it was called "U TURN BAY" (see the crap you come up with after a day in the saddle)

Left Goulburn at about 20:00 got 10 K's south and traffic was becoming more less, flicked on the high beam, truck coming dim to low, truck past, flick to high (OHHHH F%$K) flick to low beam, no lights at all and pitch black, put the blinker on as it light up the reflectors on the white posts enough so I could pull over, now that is a way of getting a heart start and forgetting about the sore arse, replaced the fuse and the bottom spring holder snapped off, lucky it was the bit that doesn't have current, wrapped a cable tie on it and headed off again, every time I flicked to high beam was an anxious moment.

BTW guess who bought the new fuse holder at the auction just coincidentally (LOL)

Got home at 22:00 Thanks all for the great weekend?

Cheers

Lou

Got home just after 4pm. Waved to Xtian as I peeled off to the Northern Beaches, he continued on for another bout ov zapping.

Left Lou and L'il Scotty at Taree as we had to hot foot it down the highway.

Bike peformed flawlessly,  Unfortunately some random dude on a BMW wanted a drag at the lights in a school zone.  I revved up.  he revved up, lights changed, he took off like a missile,  I took off like a lawn bowler driving a camry, Cops grabbed the BMW no doubt to givern talking to.

Another fantastic long weekend to be remembered,  Getting ready for next year, wherever it is?
