Thanks guys,
Tim lives in Gladstone and rides a FJR and also had his old FJ imported into Australia.

Been busy cleaning up the old girl and gathering up all her accessories including all the web URL's I've accumulated.
The battery is buggered and NOW seems to have a stuck float valve, bugger.

It's just a slow process getting better and there is still another operation to come, so it could well be another 6 months until I'm fighting fit.

Best of luck with the health Ken, it really puts a spanner in the works when that goes downhill.

With a heavy heart I've kind of sold my XS.
A mate came to visit and saw the XS in the garage and wanted it.
I was real cocky and went to start her, bugger, the battery was flat.

My problem is that I don't have the energy or enthusiasm after my operations from nearly a year ago.
He has just restored one of his FJ's and has "permission" to get another bike.
The bike has been sitting around for over a year unloved.

He's back down next month to pick it up, so I'll try and make it all AOK for the RWC.
The only items I'm worried about are the tyres, some age cracks on them, every thing else seems perfect.
I did drain the tank and carbies and added fresh gas a month ago but is now running a bit rough on idle.

I'll move it on for what I paid for it and throw in all the extra bits I've bought for her.
I'm sure he'll end up joining the Forum sooner or latter.

I'll still lurk on the forum
Cheers
Ken
