Yeah you might be right with the home-made/custom extractors and possibly married up to XJ900 mufflers?

Seems  like a one off custom job looking at the headers and how they are integrated into the 2 into 1 setup.
Certainly don t look like a Kerker / Mac or Jardine .
Here s a reference range from the UK site .

"Another project that has to go! A classic Yamaha XS1100 Shaft drive. Yammies first big bore sports tourer. Bullet proof engine, buckets of torque. Purchased some 2 years ago from a chap who had it on club rego in NSW. Again another one that I had grand visions of a proper restore, but time and energy have simply prevented and now must go due to a permanent move interstate. At that time it was very rideable and was running ok, but it really needed the carbs overhauled, cleaned and balance to get spot on. Hasnt been started in 2 years, but it is not siezed and has good compression. Will need a carb strip and clean, new fuel, an oil and filter change and a battery to get started.

Please examine the pictures carefully as these really do show the condition of the bike better than any words. As you can see it needs a fair bit of cosmetic work, the forks are pitted and will need to be re-chromed. Other parts like the fenders will need the re-chrome treatment to get perfect. Brakes will need new fluid as there is none in the system. The brakes did work well though a while back, so its likely the front master cylinder needs new seals and an overhaul or simply a replacement.

Looking at the compliance plate, it appears to be a private import that originally came into QLD and approved on the 18-06-1997, but ended up regoed with club plates in NSW. Please see below ENG & VIN No's for your REVS and history check: Complies with ADR No's 72833

ENG NO: 2H9-100319

VIN NO: 2H9-100319"
