OEM primary chains are the ones to get,   megabucks I bet,  I've got one still wrapped in plastic,  coated in grease,  genuine yamaha part emblazoned all over,  I'd only throw it in if the engine was split already,   Parts n more, I remember trying to order some small part off them,  they were a bunch a bunch of turkeys,  their shipping charges are horseshlt,  they won't reply to emails and their stuff is likely made in china.

               Might've had a win here.
 Here's the email I sent them :

"Hi,
    I'm a member of the Australian XS1100 owners group and am enquiring about the availability of the primary chains you have listed for these bikes. I'm asking this as recently, a couple of our members went to order one and they got a reply that you were now out of stock for these parts.
Just wondering if you have any currently in stock again.

I obliged by jumping online and looking up the listing on their website and sent:
"Yes,
        It's  #01-0303
                           Errol
 
To which I got a reply :
"We do have that part number in stock.
Thanks
PNM"

So, apparently they do have them in stock, but watch for the postage charges as they exclusively use express post which to Australia, works out to be more than the chain itself. Best bet is if you have someone stateside who you can get it delivered to ($16, by memory) then have them post it over here. You may have to wait a little longer for delivery, but will save you a fair lump of cash

Unfortunately, John, at last report, they were out of stock despite the site showing them as current.

Don't normally hunt around on the O/S sites, but the supply seems to have dried up in the States, so I was just looking at options.
