i tried  putting the brackets back into place but with the engine
still in i was limitted for room and the front of the brackets have
also been pushed up into the frame which didnt help.
ill do the same as cooper and weld some small wedges in.

in hindsite i was way to rough with the use of the center
stand.

Looks like you welded the cracks in the broken position, the brackets needed to be belted back into place first.

I used to be able to actually get my bike ONTO the main stand while still sitting on it  :P :P :P

Yep I forgot to mention the cracks at the stand mounting points.
I have the same problem, goyt harder and harder to move off the stand. Of course I thought I was just getting too old but when I managed to get me ol' body on the ground to look I saw the cracks so off came the stand......the cracks are still there  :-X :-X :-X

it wouldnt hurt to look for cracks around the welds
where the stand brackets attaches to the frame,
mine was cracked around there and it made it hard
to get the bike on and off the stand.

Mate,

new bolts will certainly help and the angle has been designed to avoid accidental bumping off.

You know, the times standing around the bikes, a beer in hand and bullshitting with your mates.
Someone leans on the bike or puts a boot up on the peg and *&^% Oops!

If the problem is "Ducks Disease" then push it off the stand before you get on.
