Welcome to the Brotherhood Kev.

Well bought 8) But everone has been very polite ??? and not asked the bottom line :-X

You got to be very happy with that though she looks very special.

There's quite a few of us now down here in Mexico now. Perhaps it's time to visit the St Andrews Hotel for lunch again guys?

The gators were on the bike when I got it and i'm still in two minds about them..
Very practical yes... but looks wise...hmmmm..dunno .

Very nice Kev, you've done well
I was going to put fork gators on my old XS, now you've got me inspired to do it again.
Mate you need to take this bike to bourke so we can kick tyres and shake hands

It was an agonising wait once all the paperwork was done.
But everone involved..from the dealer to the shippers were very proffessional and I knew the whole deal was in good hands.
Was like Christmas when i finally got the nod to pick her up from the container depot.
All went very smoothly and I was most impressed by the way it had been crated / protected..
Now for the fun part...all those great rides...

Still a bold move all the same and then having wait for it to be shipped over here, hoping it is not damaged in transit, all credit to you.

I hope you get many happy rides on her.

Cheers

Paul,
Was listed on e-bay back in Sept last year..No..didn't go over there.
A good number of photos and close ups.on line and..was the best looking example i've seen for a long time.
Wasn't expecting it to be mint ( which she's not ) but she looked great from the photos and I bit the bullet.
So glad I did too...not dissapointed

Kev

Did you travel over there to look at it or did you buy it on photos alone on the net?

Thanks Paul,
Shes showing 10,400 miles on the clocks.
Has not been restored..just well looked after and pampered by 1 owner in UK.
Close inspection seems to indicate no reason to doubt the milage but i'd like to get a second oppinion on that by someone who knows thier 1100's
Jeff's going to come over and have a look...
