This is a heads up, for a proposed event.
A mate, from Canberra, is kicking off the notion of a charity ride to Coonabarabran in support of the local 'Mayor's Fund' charity for victims of last weeks fire.
No date has yet been set.
The idea so far:
riders register, by payment of a $30 donation, plus $10 for a camping spot overnight. All funds raised go to the kitty that will be presented to the Mayor's Fund.
No organised group rides, nor organised routes. Get there with whomever you choose to ride with and by which ever route you deem suitable.
I'll provide further info as this thing gets legs and gathers pace.
Pity if it happens to clash with the XS11 Rally.
