     I will concede that the RD will be much easier to live with on a racetrack then the XS.
I got invited to a trackday a few years ago by my son at Willowbank,  which initially sounded promising, but upon arrival and seeing that the oldest bike I would be running against was an 1198 Ducati, put me off the idea. (secretly didn't like the idea of pitching the bike right at maximum warp at the end of the main straight) so I nuffed out and rode his ZX10 in the learner class to within 3 secs of his best time (first time on his bike, or radial tyres, for that matter)
 Hope the weather is kind to you, mate, and that you have lots of footage to share with us.

I'm am progressing.  The XS will stay at home for this one.  Too heavy.  Too wobbly.
The RD250 has new pistons & rings and, COMPRESSION!  I can actually feel resistance to the kick starter. 

The 350LC should be re-assembled next week.  I trust I'm not building a hand grenade.  we'll see.

Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza, 2013.
30th & 31st March 2013.

Broadford Race Circuit, not too far north of Melbourne & just off the Hume Hwy.

If you're not aware, this event is now 6 years old.  It's put on by Motorcycling Australia, supported by Honda and Motorcycle trader magazine, amongst others.

It's a 'run what ya brung' weekend for any bike 25 years or older.

You don't have to have race leathers.
You don't have to have race wiring.
You can ride your registered or unregistered bike.

There is some scrutineering to ensure basic safety.

The event caters for road race, enduro, motocross & speedway.


I've entered my RDs.
The XS will stay at home.
