Problem solved!

I gave my local Yamaha dealer a call without expecting much and it turns out a replacement rubber was easy to get hold of, as a few other bikes run the same part.

In case anyone's interested the part number is 371-27114-00 and it cost me $8.95.

I did have to chew the rubber a bit to soften it up so it would fit in...yum.

Thanks for the 'Plan B' option Jonesey!

Hey Jarrad
I used a rubber foot off an old petrol generator  I scrapped. the rubber foot was bonded to an 8mm bolt worked perfect.
Just an idea...... I'll have a look in my stash there might be another one I can send to you.

Centre stand stop rubber anyone?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have or know where to get hold of a centre stand stop rubber?

I've found them in the US for only $3 but the problem is postage - either they won't post to Oz or the Fedex charge is ridiculous.

If anyone has a spare they'd like to sell I'd be grateful and more than happy to pay for the rubber and postage. Or is there anywhere in Oz I could buy one?

Cheers,

Jarrad
