Recently read one of our past Aussie road racing heroes passed away......way too early.
 I remember him well .........as a gutsy rider who overcame odds of doing well in the sport of motorcycle racing due to an industrial accident......... when a hydraulic line broke free on machinery he was working on....... and cut through his arm leaving it partly incapacitated.
