There's heaps on ebay.  The cheapest including shipping are from the U S of A coming in at around $120.  If you were to buy them here, Metropolitan have hundreds of sets but they start at around $150  and go north.

If there was enough interest we could probably do a bulk order at a "special "price.

If anyone is keen then I would look into it.

Cheers

Eddy.

Question One

* Don't know how they feel the bike is out of rego, [so was the FJR so it got preference]
* the wife wanted to be taken to the club and;
* it was too bloody cold by the time I finished
* A further report to come.......................

Question Two
These ones are off a 2003 R1, I bought the brackets and the spacers behind the discs off Mal Pitman, It seems the Blue Spots are all the same. [am I right Xtian]
Mal provided 4mm spacers but I had to add a further 2mm for the caliper to clear the wheel.
I made up a jig to turn up the spacers on my old lathe (One would normally punch something like that but only had the lathe)

Just for the dunder heads that weren't listening the first time (ah that'd be me) which model or range do theses blue spots come from and is there a contact for Mal P and his brackets or did you get some made Eddy? or Christian?

All done. Tolerances are close some adjustment with additional shims was required.

No expense was spared for the brake bleeding equipment.

OK here are 4 video's to point out what needs to be checked when replacing the old calipers with the blue spots.
No big deal but because of the close tolerances of the blue spots to the original disc it must be checked.

I was playing with the new brackets on the weekend and discovered how close the tolerances are.
Seems that the axle had a VERY slight bend in it (discovered after much head scratching) and the right caliper was rubbing.
I though it may have been the right hand wheel spacer so got another one pulled all apart again and replaced that and it was ok.
SO I thought it was a spacer problem, just to double check put the old one back and this time it was ok.
Quick call to Mal, he suggested checking the axle and bingo another axle in and all was fine.

So check that the axle does not have a bend by making the left clamp just tight enough for the end to slide in and then slide the axle through and see if you can turn it freely if not it is bent (Mal can fix this )

I also found that the right spacer is a bit critical (that is also going to Mal for a check)

BUT all in all the brackets worked out well, if you have no problem issues it is a quick straight swap and stop.

I will try and put a video (very poorly done with one hand)
