Gotta admit I was a bit hesitant about the schools in thing too, probly gunna  be enough casual ramblings about things XS that a formal presentation style thing would be just that......too formal. And could be lost on the non XS people too.

On the travelling thing the Sydney siders meeting up with assorted country type riff raff at orange and molong seemed to go pretty well last year

Conglomeration of XS's?? XSive gathering?? A gaggle of XS11's? National XS1100 Rally!! Of course!

Michelle, two books?? You didn't even start the one you had with you last year.
Anyways, plan A is to see you and Geoff at Kidmans abiut 7.00am on Friday morning.
After that, it'll be all too XSive for the senses!
Dunno about the "school's in"  thingie, though,
I reckon there's plenty to discuss at a meeting of these 30 year old + dinosaurs, without bringing predefined subjects to bear as well.
Are you coming via "Sport", or "family sedan".. just for references sake?

SO Ralliers -which i have been told tonite that it is not the correct terminoligy because it's not really a rally but more of a get together -  :-\

I have added a facebook event on the xs1100 australia facebook page with some basic details of the event asking for prospective attendees to indicate when and where you are leaving from so that you can create some convoys - yes i am married to a truck driver - he is worried that there may be some lone travellers out there that will do the run alone needlessly and that it would be good if some of you could travel together  8)

Any rally related questions should be emailed to rally2013@xs1100.com.au and your questions will be answered where possible
If you are happy to bunk in a shared cabin of 4 please let us know as we have booked these already - first in best dressed, if you would prefer your own space or are going to camp please contact Kidmans directly - they are filling up fast  :o

Once we get a bit closer to the date and have a better idea on definite numbers we will put up a post on catering arrangements for the week-end.
So I am excited !!  :P i think?? Might need to bring two books this year.............

SCHOOLS IN

Last years  get together was a bit of a dogs breakfast in that there was nothing really organised,,

Reading through the posts since I, m thinking we need info sessions,,,

JEFF,,,,,,,,, your up,,, can you bring a multi meter, and  some  not working electrical  do dad's, we, 'll have plenty of working ones to compare to,,     and maybe work on a bit of a speel,  although the last bit, s probably not needed

PETE,,,,,,,,, can you bring a  carb  to pull apart, and explain your many hours of  miniscule adjustments and results,, and what you, 've learnt or achieved out of them

I, m thinking the kitchen will make a great room  that we can use for this

more subjects and teacher's to come as I think of them
.................................................................................

We could just put Dusty up on the stage, pull it apart and put it back together again  :P :P

I do have the set of Carbies that Bryan gave me here, I was planning on setting them up for pods but thinking about the 1200 carbies now??
