Thanks Peter it's good to get feed back on other peoples experience.

I've been searching the web for a air/fuel mixture  data logger. They are not that expensive.

Basically you install an oxy sensor in the exhaust and go for a ride come back and download a similar graph to that Bryan had from the dyno.

Where Bryan had the advantage is that an experienced tuner read the data and was able to make adjustments based on his experience.

I'm only stuffing around so playing with it myself appeals to me

hi scarfy,
ive had the dj kit before, the stage 3 kit is way to big,
even with pods and an open exhaust, the only difference
between the stages are the size of the main jets, the kit
comes with 3 sizes of main jets,  124, 128 and 138,
the 128 should be big enuff if ur running pods.

There are a miriad of carby jet size lists about and I'm never sure which one relate to the Australian Models and as my bike is a bitzer and I have two sets of Carbys off different models it's difficult to get a benchmark.

I'm currently preparing two sets of Carbys with the Dynojet kit I bought. It come with jets and needles for STAGE ONE and  STAGE THREE

Stage one will go into my existing set and stage three in the other set as a comparison.

According to the Dynojet cattle dog that came with the set I should be able to fit the stage three with pods and an aftermarket exhaust.

I will try the stage one set as well.

What fun.  I like what Bryan did with the dyno is great.  Not sure I can do that in Canberra

Bryan can you post a more legible pikky it's a bit hard to read the fine print.

George, this extract from the Suzuki Australia website may shed some light on your question.........

Suzuki motorcycles, unless specifically designed to comply to Australian Design Rules (ADR) cannot usually be imported into Australia. Suzuki Australia is unable to directly assist individuals import their motorcycles into Australia. Should you require assistance with personal the importation of a motorcycle into Australia please visit the following website: www.infrastructure.gov.au and click on the links to “Roads” / “Motor Vehicles” / “Importing vehicles

I would of thought the same.....that all imports sold here must comply with Australian Design Rules (ADR).

Why do you ask?

Alright you clever buggers that remember heaps of detail here is your big chance.

What specs do Australian bikes conform to. US, UK or Canadian.
