Brian ....Brian.... You've got a great deal to answer for..... after I saw your bike you set me off...

So far the poor old girl has gone through a small transformation.  Put one of those digital speedo thingo's on, found an RH rear guard and cut shit loads out of the middle of it to shorten it up, cut down a set of trail bike bars and welded up a set of drop bars, bought a set of pods and a jet kit to suit and some LED Taillight and blinkers and fancy mirrors.

Must say it's starting to look the goods.  Working in Sydney for the next two weeks I'll post some pikkys when I get the chance.

Mostly I've been darting out to the shed when it's not too cold. Benchmark is when it gets to 8 Celsius it's time to go inside [because it's heading for minus 6 again.]
Mate of mine owns a fancy machine shop called Devilish Racing [machines stuff for the V8 Supercar blokes] so I think I"ll get him to do the swingarm.

Been doing my best to make it so everything is easily reversable, preserving the loom by using plugs off an old loom etc. etc

Been a good exercise  hope it rides OK

All the best SCARFEY

FOOTNOTE: Took the plug cap off to wind the rev counter wire around the plug lead and put some heat shrink on. Then re-installed the plug cap on the vaccum hose coming out of the carby. It definetly time to go inside.
