The closest thing to standard is the BSM 4-2.

It would cost you $1,000 plus postage though  :o

Thanks for that.  The present exhaust is 4 - 1 and was painted black all the way.  It wouldnt be suitable for a restoration.  I have after market shockers (old) and still have the originnal shockers, which I might be able to have rebuilt.
Thanks
Carsten

Carsten,

You wouldn't find an original exhaust anywhere. Possibly a half decent 2nd hand one, but it would cost you a fortune.

You'd be best thinking of a new exaust as being the final finishing touch to your project. Along with new rear shockies it will be a big investment so you'll want to know that everything else it tip top before you spend 700 on an exhaust and 3-500 on shockies.

Great looking bike, motor really clean, gives me something to compare against.  Question re: exhausts - can you still get original exhaust systems or is the shown system where I should be heading.
Thanks
Carsten

Hey guys,

tried the web site myself a few years ago and got no response either.

Just talked to the blokes at Pipemasters and they can't explain it but this phone number is current.

07-3252 3939

When ordering your 4-2-1 make sure you tell them if you have the factory fitted oil cooler on the front or not. They will make up either model.
I paid $625 in 1996 for a full system in stainless. (They also do them in chrome).
My son bought a tail pipe (muffler) for me about 5 years ago after he dropped The Beast but I don't know how much he paid.
I'm very happy with mine as no carby work required and I still get to use the centre stand.
