Bikes and Banjos......Deiliverance.....

from the ordinary.

Some of the usual suspects and I had a weekend out in north western Arkansas this last weekend. trbig took some video with his go pro camera mounted to his helmet. Thought I would share it with you. The gopro with it's fisheye lens really doesn't do the curves and elevation changes justice but if you listen to Tod's engine you can hear how much he slowed down and let me tell you, Tod NEVER slows down.

In the first video, even though you can't really tell, we are going up a steep hill through switchbacks with tight hairpin turns. At 1:53 you'll see an oil spill in the middle of a tight turn. That one got me and I laid ol' okie down. A real slow low side that didn't damage me or the bike significantly. I'm still a little sore though. At 1:55 trbig looks back at the curve and it gives you some idea of how tight and steep it is.

The second video is after I crashed. I was a bit upset and just took off and Bigfoot was right behind me. trbig started the camera back up and proceeded to catch up. You'll see him catch bigfoot first and get waved on by then he catches me but it took me a while to let him pass. After that it was just some mor Harley riders that had been clogging up the roads all day. At least these few moved over and let us pass easily.
