Hopefully, there'll be a bit of a gathering at the Laverda Concours in Brissie on July 15th. Just thought I'd point out that it's a show for all types of bikes, not just Laverdas, in case that was putting anyone off going. Any of the bikes seen at the rally would definitely fit the bill for showcasing our site. I think Bryan was thinking of having a marquee set up this year. Any more info on that, Bryan?

Maybe could do a campout somewhere in the near vicinity to the show site on the Saturday, then have a short hop on Sunday morning over to the showgrounds.

Here's some past threads on this event

when ?  where ? just warming the bike up now, keep us posted.

corners would be good.

there was also a campfire on sunday night, had a few more campers arrive and they apparently paid a bit extra to have the fire lit up to do some cooking.

I've got a few corners near my place. Went out there today before dumping the oil out of the old girl.
I now call it "Evs patch" - Short, but sweet! Still don't like that front tyre, though. Scary.

Next Years Rally??

Just a bit of reflection on the past event. I'd say the date of the event was just about perfect, given our climatic conditions. Barring Christians' bikes expiration, there were no human injuries, though Christian will probably need a bit of solace to recover from having his pride and joy melt down between his knees on the way out. BTW, Xtian, any bits required, just ask, and the "system" should kick into gear. The site chosen was just about perfect, given that I only saw it for a small time comparatively, I didn't notice a campfire, or was I just too tired to see it??
What I did notice that, of the people who made it to our inaugural rally, every one showed pride in riding their chosen mount and that shows that they have a certain bit of panache' which newer bike owners do not have.
I'd liken this past rally to a thread started by our founder, Christian, which goes something like " It all starts here" CLICK    which started this whole shebang off. At that time, he had no idea what would come of it but the turnout at our first national rally is only a glimpse of things to come.
Wherabouts for next year??
