The previous ad on gumtree price......... was dropped to $6,000.......and still no sale after many months of advertising.
Also to be noted.......... the references to higher priced bikes found........... are suffering the same fate..........."No Sale".
I can t remember how long i ve been seeing that one at Antique Motorcycles for sale.......hmmmmmmmmm.....yes i can........a bloody long time!
It would seem that the sellers are prepared to let the market place appreciate over time or wait for that one in a million unsuspecting buyer who does no market research on actual sales or someone who finds money is burning a hole in his pocket.
If someone had $8,000 to 9,500 there s a whole range of newer motorcycles out there the sellers have to compete with.
None of these sellers have done proper market research on what these bikes sell for and what most people are prepared to pay.
My call ?........$4,500 to $5,500 max for Queensland sale.
American import at Antique Motorcycles ?.......It s a shabby example on close inspection..does have original pipes......
downside ?......... in appearance and presentation.......... and litres held...the Yankee tank.
$3,500 to $4,500...........don t see this one being sold at all at their asking price..
