that is sad news Pete,
considering you,re a founding member, been here since the beginning

but like we have always said here, they are fun to work on and ride but when things go pear shape and don't play fair, they drive you to the point of distraction,

we;ll be losing a wealth of info as you go, especially in the carby side of things knowing how much time you've spent tuning and adjusting to get yours spot on

have you had time to sit down and work out a ball park dollar figure for everything yet?

hopefully something will come together for the bourke trip

sorry to see you getting out of XS's but it'd be still good if you could get to Bourke. Hope you get onto your new machine in short time so you can still make it.

just wondering what sort of bike your thinking about, i think ive narrowed my search down to either a xjr1300 or cb1300, i already have 2 x  31 year old bikes,my little xj has just started to let me down a bit to often lately, nothing i havent been able to deal with so far but,,anyway good luck with the sale.

Bloody 'ell Pete. You're one of the stalwarts mate.

Will be a sad day when you don't have an XS. I reckon you just need to buy another, more reliable one.

Good luck with the sale though. Some nice stuff there.

im wanting to update to something newer
and am going to sell everything xs i have,
i dont wanna seperate anything and prefer to
sell the lot together.

1 xs1100rh registered till 6 sept, currently fitted with a 3x1 engine
and fitted with the a 2h7 tci, engine number isnt registered to the bike,
this engine has a vibration around 4000rpm.

1 xs1100g, unregistered will need a thorough going over before being ridden,
engine not fitted but otherwise complete.

i have the original engine for the rh with matching engine number, the engine
is pulled apart with 2 spun conrod bearings and damaged crankshaft.

i have also 1 complete engine that i just pulled out of the rh that has a rattle
coming from the engine, this engine had new rings and a hone of the cylinder
barrels will need to be pulled down to determine where the rattle is (possibly the
primary chain)

i have also another engine that i was going to use for parts for the original rh engine.
i also have another rh frame with wiring loom and almost enuff parts to make
another complete bike.

other parts....
rh fairing and bracket
keihin 36mm carbs
spare 2h7 tci  3 x 4ro tci's
spare king/queen seat
i also have a new 1190? wiseko  big bore kit,
complete conrod bearing kit
brand new 4 - 2 mac exhaust with turn outs
2 x rear wheel bearings
new cam chain

and many more used  parts

open to reasonable offers
will post pics shortly
