Hey john,

The fairing and brackets are very rare and hard to come by.  I have seen only 3 come up on eBay in the last 10 years, all of those were in either Germany or the UK and sold for silly money.  Lou picked one up a couple of years ago but had to buy the whole bike. He got the fairing and I got the barn find bike.

LHS rear wheel needle bearing is in a similar status of "endangered species" however do pop up on eBay more often, again on eBay.co.uk I have paid around 30 bucks for them but have used all of my stocks up.

Keep looking for a fairing. One will eventually surface.

I have a set of moulds to make a fibreglass replica  fairing  but no spare brackets.

Good luck

Pete........ good luck with that bike your purchasing.
I once was given the keys to a Honda Fireblade.......after being out on the roads for 10 mins i brought it back........and told the owner never to give me the keys again.
I felt like Superman on it......nothing seemed impossible...........it was talking to me ...yet saying nothing.
Impending double lines and narrowing of  lanes all seemed to mean nothing...........it all seemed far too easy....
But..........that was just me..........i m sure you ll be most sensible..........on one of the most powerful bikes built to date.
You will .....won t you?
Seriously.............enjoy your new ride my friend.

'fuel injection, computorised electronics and wtf is mapping is
going to have me lost.  lol

i was looking around 3500 - 4000, ive had one offer
