March 24th – 25th VJMC Sydney ride - Barry Sheene Festival of Speed at Eastern Creek
Meet at Eastern Creek from 9am onwards on Sunday (for Saturday see below).
1. For those who have been allocated a spot on the Parade Lap on Sunday, please follow the instructions you received from Peter McMillan (PCRA).
2. We hope to have a double size space in the pits area (6m X 3m) which will allow 2-3 bikes on display plus a 3m X 3m gazebo. If we can get a couple of smart looking bikes that would be great. The Gazebo MUST be weighted and tied down in case of wind at the track which has happened in the past (and destroyed the last gazebo). At the moment we're planning for Sunday only but could possibly do Saturday as well if we have a team to man the gazebo on Saturday - if you can help (either day) please let us know (contact details below) so we can make a plan.
3. There is also a Show'n'Shine (run by Jeff Ware of Rapid Bike & Used & Classic Bike Enthusiast) on Sunday which wil be in the pits area - for members riding to the event this is a good way to get bike parking in the pits, but you'll need to be there until the show'n'shine finishes. If you want to leave early you should park in the general parking area. Further details below.
