g,day , as far as I,m aware, all models,, but only the original standard size pistons,

unless they make the same incremental over size rings as well,

a quick search should tell you whats avaialable

if all else fails,, Makzys' older brother {he doesn't do computors} uses ford focus rings,, exactly the same, being for std bore that is, have never tried myself, but he is doing a second motor using them

Sorry to ask after such a long time but which model or engine size of a Ford Focus will fit?

Mate, to save yourself some time and labour. you dont need to remove the engine from the frame to take the head off.

Also check your idle adjustment wasnt wound up to the Max,.......not having the vac lines connected wouldnt make it rev to 5K

So whats it doing to make you assume its got a bent valve?

Vac line not closed off?
Check your problem was nt air leaks or fuel starvation.

Disaster - Its got a stuck exhaust valve in number 3. When it first started it revved out to 5k as I did not have those vacuum tubes closed off that go to the fuel valves, so Im guessing I may have done the damage then. I am assuming I have bent the valve. Bitter bitter disappointment, however the beautiful thing is not going to let me ride it until I do my apprenticeship. As soon as I can recover sufficiently I will be pulling the beautiful engine back out for the second time and removing the head which will again be for the second time. However the positive about reworking what should have been done once, is that I should be better and faster at it given my previous experience which was quite difficult as my hands are twice the size of an average Jap and I did not have a clue what I was doing. So when the time and inclination coincide were going in -                                     AGAIN

Its a goer , but running poorly. Best described as " all over the place like a mad woman's shit!"
I have found a guy in Chiltern - COD Rewinding who specialises in antique bike electricals.
Plan to take it there in the hope of getting an electrical clean bill of health so I can tick it off the list.

the oil ring is the same, you just have to use the separator from your old xs rings..way, way cheaper, just as good!

I had heard that and I asked the machine guy who had a big book on rings. He said they were close but the car rings had a "wider" 4mm oil ring compared to about 2mm for the Yamaha, so no go. But if your bro has done it then it must work. I will be back in touch when I get the rings as I dont seem to have those disc shims you have on the video, just the buckets, which I dont understand why (yet).
