Schematic courtesy of a previous post by....... melbXS........ Brian.Continuity is one test..........but it s the resistance scale and test that will show up bad coils or faulty connections on connector blocks or joins.Set your meter to Ohms and on a suitable scale.......... if it s not an Autoranging Digital Multimeter.Pull the 4 terminal connector off the TCI Unit and test there.Test between the top terminals Y/R AND Y/G...you should get 670 ohms to 720 ohms or .67 K to .72 K depending on what scale you are using .Approximately the same readings should be obtained between the remaining bottom two wires ...W/R AND W/G.If you don t get any reasonable readings then use the continuity test between the connectors and coil on the same colour wire between different points to see if there is a broken wire / dirty or loose terminal connection or a break or bad solder joint depending on how it was repaired. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/J2P9kwRS8OVji2rNqAwyCQRkeHJlkZEcgq3w32GDBW0?feat=directlink
Reading through your previous posts on this topic.....i see you have had fuel leaking from the carbs..........if this hasn t been found/fixed.........this could also provide issues.Where fuel is leaking out.............air is leaking in.Has this been fixed ?Yep SortedLou
