Nice find, Fred. At that price, they'd hardly be worth the drama of trying to repair one as has been often talked about on the dot com site.
Extra bonus points to you for waiting and testing the reliability factor which is always a worry with aftermarket gear.

Bought a new starter solenoid "CLICKY" in September last year and thought I'd give it a few miles and weather conditions before I'd review it for you. ;D

Well, through wind and hail and rain and shine it has stood the test of time ::)
It hasn't faulted once and gives a crisp solid start every time.

It's virtually a straight fit on to my '78E with only a rebend of the earth (Neg) cable around the other side of the aux fuse.

I paid $24.95 last year but I see it's gone up to $29.95 but it is still "free postage" and now comes with a "two" year warranty instead of one. 8) Thoroughly recommended by yours truly.
