I plan to leave Canberry Friday morning, Lunch in Dubbo and overnight in Nyngan to make it an easy ride to Bourke Saturday morning. That's 200 K. The caravan park on the west side of town is good. They used to run you into the club and pick up as long as you rang before 10:30.

Dubbo to Kidmans is about 400 K. Sunset will be about 5:30 in May. Doesn't leave you a lot of time to get off the raod before sharing it with the Roo's, goats camels, donkeys and emus.

Riding into the sun at that hour is not a good look.

Success!!!  Transplant went ok and is back on the road, planning a run of about 400km for Anzac day just to see how it handles a long run.
Still planning to head off to Bourke on the 4th (if all goes well) , any of you blokes from Sydney made plans yet ?

My plan so far......
Thursday May 3rd leave Brisbane

Overnight in Goondiwindi or Moree....
then on to Bourke Friday (fuel at Brewarrina I reckon)
then RALLY for weekend
Sunday 6th OR Monday 7th off to Walgett then North towards Bollon (my Brother is the Copper there
and haven't seen him for years)

Next day off to Roma to see a mate - overnight there....

then home to Brisbane over the next couple of days....

some 2450km apparently.....
What say you guys?

Yep,fuel has to be a concern, especially since my old gal[1100 RH Sport]can only return about 170ks from a tank, ridden reasonably and off the noise.I am a lazy bloke so can someone give me a fuel stop schedule from dubbo please[small reward possible, to lubricate the wheels of leisure]Ps hands up whose getting a tad excited? And i look forward to meeting our founding father, and the rest of you lads.Keep it upright-watch out for the idiots and dont be one
