Steveo , what state are you from ?
Being that the engine cases are polished as well as having the smaller US standard tank on the chain drive bike and the xs1100 special in the background is also a US import with the rear indicators not mounted to the tail light...............did you import these bikes yourself?
I m sure the members here in Australia would love to see this bike in the flesh once it s finished.
Are you in NSW.......VIC.........QLD or other?
Given that along with the US bikes and US Amen Savior frame on your other bike........are you in the USA?

Hi Steveo. Just wondering what other modifications you have done to the frame to compensate for the extra stresses imposed on it by the lengthened wheelbase?

Looks great mate.

How much longer than standard is the wheelbase? Looks radical out the back.

My carbys were sitting a long time and although I cleaned then several times I still couldn't get the tune just right.

In desperation I put a bottle of injector cleaner (that's right a whole bottle Cos it says on the bottle you can't over treat your vehicle) in the tank when it was only half full.

Sounds a rough thing to do but the change in idling and smootness was remarkable.

My guess is that the needles and jets were a bit gummy and sticking and no amount of compressed air would get them clean.

Well i got ahold of stuart garvie and he was very helpful he reccomended 14/46 or 14/48 so im going with 17/57.   3.35 with a low profile 17" tire We'll see how things go im trying to use all of my 130 link chain so i dont end up short. Vortex sprockets will make you any size sprocket you could dream up and are very helpful on the telephone. Great people to deal with.... Just for future reference

had a look in the good book and
middle gear ratio = 1.056:1 and final drive ratio = 3.3:1 multiplied = 3.48:1
If you wanted to keep the original gearing you'd be looking at front/rear sprocket tooth combinations of 12/42, 13/45, 14/49, 15/52 etc etc.........as far as pitch and section go ....? maybe suss out what the big bore chain drive bikes are running these days.
