Welcome aboard Coopz. We were just talking about how there aren't many specials in Aus. Was yours imported?

Get some pics up of all the family bikes if you can.

welcome to the fraternity mate.
You and your dad both have good tastes in bikes.
They may weigh the same as two more modern bikes but they go like cut cats and have been doing it for 32 years already.
Where are you based? so that some of us can hook up from time to time.

Hi all, i recently purchased a mint 1981 XS Special. Yet to collect it but i thought I'd register and say hello. I've aways loved retro bikes, my dad has had 3 XS1100's and I've always had a soft spot for the old 3 ton road rocket:)
