Just started to do the continuity tests & bingo, 2 soldered connections had come adrift.

Cant hurt as a test to bridge out the canselling unit.
Previous XS iI had would cansell the blinkers after 1 flash. I discarded the canseller and all was good

wiz,  check ur battery voltage, if its low
it could cause that problem, more so with the stock unit tho,
theres nothing xtra u need to do if fitting an eloctronic flasher,
the only other thing i can think of is having  the plug on the right way?

First thing I did was test the unit off the bike, all good.
It worked when I fitted it in the morning, in the PM nada.
Other members must have fitted an electronic unit, did they have to bridge something in the canceling unit ?

If all was good...........for how long was it good?
Can you temporarily connect the Flasher Unit away from the bike to test the unit itself ?
This will imediately tell you if it s bike related or not.
My rough guess ,having little knowledge of what you have done there, is that the flasher unit may have gone faulty.

I fitted a 2 pin electronic F/U for my new, smaller turn signals, all was good, then nothing, except when I turn the lights on & all 4 indicators come on (not flashing), now I'm thinking canceling unit or the reserve lighting devise, can anyone point me in the right direction ?
