Hens teeth is right, Brian. these are the closest thing I could find ATM.
EBAY, germany - CLICK

They sound like they're off a Standard, but they've got the same 3 bolt mounts as mine so maybe, maybe not. Plus they're chrome of course

You'd be most likely to find them on Ebay in the UK or Germany or France as the European XS1100S was the same as the RH.

Hens teeth though I think.

Sorry I don't have any spares and they'd be a bit of a rarity themselves. I lost mine on a ride years ago and hunted around everywhere but couldn't get one at all. Ebay would be the best chance these days though you'd probably be slugged for shipping from the US .
Barring that, the one in the pic is a piece of stainless tube that I sliced open with a grinder, rounded the edges off and drilled some mounting holes in it. it's done the job for about 6 years and doesn't look too out of place. Took about 2 hours from start to finish.

Does anyone have a spare set or willng to part with for a price of course of what appears to be exhaust shields on the original exhausts 81 RH, located just below the foot pegs. there are 2 screw holes that look like they hold it?

Cheers
